Health Care Support Worker

Working as a Health Care Assistant within the District Team based within West Kilbride you will provide patient care in support of a registered nurse to ensure delivery of a high quality of nursing service.  Post holder will be expected to work unsupervised and exercise initiative when providing patient care.  Requires a base level of theoretical knowledge and understanding of a range pf procedures - educated or working towards SVQ 2/3 in Health Care - or equivalent experience.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonl skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative, and a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community.  You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.  You must hold a current  UK Driving Licence  and have access to vehicle.
