Pharmacy Technician Ward Services
Band 5 – 37.5 hours – Full Time
This post is involved in working as part of the ward technician team to provide support at a higher level to the clinical pharmacists, and is part of the pharmacy service within NHS Grampian that provides the provision of pharmaceutical care to patients.
It involves assessing and checking of patients own supply, ordering and dealing with any queries of supply, assisting in the organisation of prescriptions and supply for discharge.
Works closely with the pharmacist and will be required to train and supervise less experienced technicians.
Applications are invited from registered technicians with suitable relevant experience.
A dispensary checking technician qualification is required and if not already held, must be undertaken.
