Hours: 22.5 hours per week. Location: Pre-Assessment Unit Dr Grays Hospital.
This is a permanent post of 22.5 hours a week as a band 3 senior healthcare support worker to meet the needs of the service. At present this is a band 3 position but we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to providing a safe and effective standard of care with excellent communication skills, with up to date clinical skills including venepuncture and good computer skills to compliment our new E-document. This individual should expect to undertake a competency package within a 3-6 month time frame giving them evidence based practice.
We are a small dedicated team who promote the need for health assessment and well being. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated individual. The individual will provide both clinical skills and clerical skills providing accurate documentation to support the consultant anaesthetic team. The successful individual should be able to meet the demands of the service and have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
