We are looking to recruit two part time ward clerks to work within the Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse.  You should appreciate that they will be working within an Intensive Care clinical environment.  Duties include the maintenance and filing of patient confidential medical records, recording patient related date using the computerised patient management system, answering telephone calls and relaying messages to the clinical team.

You should note that you will be expected to work additional hours up to full time working to cover for colleagues annual, sickness and any other specified leave.  You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service requirements.

You will work an alternating shift rotation mornings one week and afternoons the next.

You should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience.

Hours: 18.75, 2 week shift rotation:

Shift Rotation

Week 1:             Monday to Friday              8 am – 11.45 am

Week 2:             Monday to Friday              12.30 pm – 4.15 pm
