Fixed Term/Secondment for two years.

NHS Lothian is delighted to be able to offer an exciting opportunity to apply to become the Education Lead for Anaesthesia Associates.
This post will be for an initial 2-year period to support the development of a new educational partnership with the University of Birmingham in order to train additional Anaesthesia Associates to work across NHS Lothian.
You will be based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh working with the Medical Education Team to ensure all trainees gain clinical experience from day one through rotations across each of the 3 Lothian acute hospital sites which also include St John’s in Livingston and the Western General covering a breadth of surgical specialties.
During their course you will support trainees to work through a variety of competency modules, signed off by educational supervisors and sit two national exams.
This post is offered on a fixed term contract or secondment basis. Successful candidates will be paid at AFC Band 8a for the time they work as Education Lead.
