NHS Fife older Adults In- patient Services: Mental Health
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a nurse to join the older adult mental health in-patient service within NHS Fife. We are looking for a nurse who has a genuine interest working within the unique older adult wards which incorporates organic, functional and longer stay areas.
The candidate should be motivated, possess effective written and oral communication skills and have the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and close working with families and patients. The candidate should be enthusiastic, committed and empathetic, and embrace the challenge that the role brings.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest and passion for older adult mental health and must work in a person centred way to meet the needs of the individuals in their care. Previous leadership experience is advantageous but would not preclude the right person.
A 1st level Mental health nurse qualification is essential.
You will receive a comprehensive induction and annual appraisal, with management investment in your ongoing training.
