Assistant Practitioner Management of Aggression Education and Training, Band 4
Permanent Contract
Post 37.5 hours per week (1.0 WTE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join NHS Lothian’s Management of Aggression Education & Training Team.
The main purpose of this post is to provide both classroom teaching and specialist service specific training in the management of violence and aggression.
The post holder will also provide support to the Practitioners and Senior Practitioners in all aspects of aggression and violence management, local procedure development, risk assessment, legal & ethical issues, safe handling and measures for managing specific individuals.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
