We are looking for friendly motivated Health Visitors to join our team In Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership. We are a forward thinking progressive team always keen to develop new ways of working to meet needs of children and families within Localities across Aberdeen City.

Aberdeen City Health Visitors provide a Universal service working with children and families to promote their development and meet their identified needs. Provision of targeted support with families and multi-agency partners to those experiencing a range of vulnerabilities and risk, ensuring collaborative approaches to planning and support that promotes health, safety and wellbeing of children and families.

You will be a registered Health Visitor, or due to register in 2022, with recent clinical experience delivering the Universal Health Visiting Pathway. You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, have a commitment to providing a high standard of holistic care through integrated team working. Understanding and application in practice of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, The Promise and Girfec approach to ensure protection of children are essential.

We encourage and ensure opportunities for professional and personal development through yearly appraisal, including use of electronic record keeping system Morse. Practitioners receive regular Child Protection Case Supervision, clinical supervision for new qualified along with progressive supported caseload management.

Car driver with current driving license and access to a car to use for work is essential.
