We are looking for a registered Mental Health Nurse. This post provides support to the In-Patient Service Manager and Lead Nurse. You will be involved in both short and longer term project work as dictated by developments and initiatives within the service. It is anticipated that the manpower aspect of this role will be the main focal point of this post. This means that you will be involved with workstreams to include recruitment, training, staff retention and pageholding. You will also undertake duties relating to the day to day management of Gartnavel Royal Hospital including managing the Phlebotomy service and participating in significant Incident Reviews. You must have significant clinical experience at Band 6 level. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience of pageholding is essential. Knowledge of recruitment and training delivery would be advantageous. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and that you have substantial experience as a Band 6.
