You will lead the Crisis Team, to deliver a 7 day a week Mental Health Crisis service for a geographical area as defined by Mental Health Hospital catchment populations including the interface with the city wide Out of Hours Service and in patient care for designated Hospital.
You will have responsibility for leading on care governance activity, including the setting and monitoring of standards of care and service, investigating complaints, staff support, career long learning, continuous professional development, practice supervision, and the implementation of policy and practice guidelines. You will also ensure that the practice of the team complies with equality and anti-discriminatory policies of NHS Greater Glasgow and .
You will support the Service Manager in the management of all the multi-agency/multi disciplinary team members to deliver a high quality service in compliance with statutory responsibilities, professional guidelines and the policies and procedures of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The post holder will have a dual Management and Caseload / Clinical Remit with an approximate 60/40 split. You must also have experience working within Mental Health in the community.
It is essential you are a Registered Mental Health Nurse and are educated to minimum degree level/ or equivalent. Completion of an evidence based psychological therapies/ psychological approaches to care formal programme of study would be beneficial.
The hours of this post are currently Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
