MAINTENANCE SHIFT PERSON
Band 4: £23,709 – 25,982 (Plus Recruitment and Retention Premium approx. £3750, Expected minimum earnings, £36,000 per annum)
37.5 hours per week – Full Time, Permanent
A vacancy has arisen within the Estates Department of NHS Highland at Raigmore Hospital for the position of Maintenance Shift Engineer.
Minimum expected earnings including unsociable payments and Recruitment and Retention payment (RRP) approx. £36,000 per annum.

Applicants must have served a recognised trade apprenticeship, preferably within either a Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Heating Engineer disciplines and have appropriate experience working on building and engineering services, preferably within a healthcare environment.
Knowledge of the Raigmore Hospital or other Acute Hospital site would be beneficial.
The successful applicant will be required to carry out maintenance and repair on a wide variety of building services and equipment.
Experience of Steam boilers would be a distinct advantage, however training will be provided.
A flexible approach to work is essential as variations to the standard working week may be necessary to provide appropriate shift cover to maintain the level of service required.
A current driving licence is essential.
