The Fife Pain Management service (FPMS) is seeking an experienced, highly effective and motivated HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join our team.
Leading the Pain Occupational Therapy team, your role will be to provide assessment and management advice to patients with complex chronic pain conditions and co-ordinate the development of the occupational therapy role within the pain service. You will work closely with the Clinical Service Lead and other professional leads on the strategic development of the Pain Service. You will promote research and evidence based practice within the service, and will contribute proactively in service development activities to ensure we are a service that responds to national policy, initiatives and clinical governance.
You will be an excellent communicator with well developed leadership, supervision and teaching skills. You will also be a forward thinking team player, with demonstrable skills and knowledge in pain management. FPMS has a strong multidisciplinary approach to the care of patients with chronic pain. This post presents an excellent opportunity to develop and extend core competencies in a Pain Management setting, supported by an experienced and enthusiastic team.
