An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the West Quadrant Community Dietetic Service for a band 5 dietitian. This post will involve assessment and management of a range of conditions, e.g. nutritional support, including enteral feeding, diabetes, Irritable bowel syndrome, paediatrics, etc. Patients are assessed both virtually by either telephone or NHS Near Me or seen face to face in general out-patient clinics, own homes and Care Homes. There is an element in this post that contributes to the board’s health improvement agenda. You will be involved in the supervision, teaching, mentoring of student dietitians, dietetic support workers and clerical staff. This post will also support the planning and delivery of education and training for health care professionals, including nursing staff, support workers and staff from other agencies. This training covers detailed, broad ranging topical nutritional issues covering the entire life cycle. A BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics, HCPC registration together with a car driving license are essential. We are a friendly, supportive and forward thinking team. You will be paired with an experienced band 6 for support and supervision.
