This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a team within Dumfries and Galloway Community HSCP to support people affected by cancer. Educated to SCVQ7/8 level with strong interpersonal skills and a belief in the strengths and resilience inherent in people and communities, you will, along with the ICJ Project Team deliver a person-centred service as part of the Dumfries and Galloway ICJ Programme.

The post is a 3 year fixed term appointment.  The role offers a unique opportunity to work with a range of partners across health and social care, local authority, third sector and users and carers.

Your role:
The ICJ Link Worker will help to promote self-management and address people’s holistic needs during and after cancer treatment and work across organisational boundaries with partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for people affected by cancer.

Whilst these posts are based within Dumfries and Galloway Community HSCP, due to COVID-19, a substantial period of flexible home working will be required.
