Occupational Therapist
Band 6 £33,072 - £40,736 (pro rata)
18 hours a week, Fixed Term 12 months
An opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to be part of an exciting development between NHS and Highland Council Housing Department. This 12 month fixed term post / secondment opportunity will further develop working practice between the two organisations , ensuring streamlined processes for patients requiring a housing solutions approach.
This post will be based within the Inverness community Occupational Therapy team. Supervision and line management will be provided through the Inverness Occupational Therapy Team Lead with daily work identified jointly between Housing colleagues and integrated team OT staff. The post holder will be expected to maintain close working relationships with OT colleagues within the integrated team.
Opportunities for ongoing professional development are encouraged.
A Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy is required as is current HCPC registration. Evidence of practice in housing and adaptations is essential.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations to meet the operational requirements of the Service. A full current driving licence and use of own car for work purposes is essential.
