As a Nursing Assistant based at Ward 1, Woodland View, Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine you will participate in the delivery of care for patients in support of and supervised by a registered nurse, as part of the multidisciplinary team within the ward/ department. Ward 1 is a busy 30 bedded General Older adult rehabilitation ward.

You must have a genuine interest in the rehabilitation process and be pro-active in achieving best outcomes for our patients. Experience in providing care for older people is desirable but not essential. Good communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team are essential.  You will be a highly motivated individual, who is able to adapt and work in a flexible manner.

You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

Please note this post is not within the mental health wards within Woodland View.
