Operational Manager for Learning Disabilities – Integrated Community Team

Health (37.5hrs) Lead post

Permanent Position

Renfrewshire HSCP is delighted to invite application to our Learning Disability – Integrated Community Team for a Band 8a (Health) Operational Manager to which a similar post is being advertised for an Operational Manager to Lead for Social Work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to our enthusiastic and committed Learning Disability – Integrated Community Team and a time which sees significant investment at operational, managerial, and service levels to strengthen personalisation, asset based, and outcomes orientated care within our community, services, and wider Partnerships – across NHSGGC and Third Sector Providers.

As we progress with our new Strategic Plan for 2022 – 2025 we see both Operational Manager posts consolidating current service improvements made by our Learning Disability – Integrated Community Team and advancing specific Action Plans identified by our local Care Planning Group forum with key Partners including development of an assertive outreach model and shared focus in areas such as individualised rights and responsibilities, housing, employability, education, transitions, health and wellbeing considerations for people experiencing a range of Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities within our community.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who can demonstrate strong leadership and managerial expertise to support adults with Learning Disabilities. Ideally experience of working within these specialties and a sound knowledge of social work legislation and background in Health and Social Care would be advantageous.

We are a close and inclusive management team with high standards for delivery of Health and Social Care Services within Renfrewshire HSCP and we genuinely look forward to welcoming and meeting with you to discuss these exciting opportunities going forward.
