An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced physiotherapist to join our team working in Neurological out patients and Multiple Sclerosis services within the Institute of Neurological Science. Neuro outpatient physiotherapy service covers GG&C while the MS physiotherapy service is regional covering the West of Scotland. You will provide direct patient care in an out patient setting which encompasses the physiotherapy assessment, treatment and overall management of a wide variety of neurological conditions. This may be via phone call, near me or face to face treatments at a variety of locations across GG&C. The post holder will work as an autonomous clinician, managing their own caseload, service waiting lists and also be responsible for admin, onward referrals and liaising with other members of the MDT regarding patients care.  You will have a role in the education of rotational staff or students within the service and to work as an expert resource to the wider MDT. You should have an interest in quality improvement and service development and together with the physiotherapy team you will develop the service to deliver high quality evidenced based care.  This post is advertised as full time however we seek applications from those also interested in part time working in either the MS or Neuro out patient physiotherapy service. The post holder should be flexible, enthusiastic to learn, self-motivated and enjoy working individually and as part of a team.
