Full-time and part-time post (18.75hrs) available with various contract options. Shift pattern: Monday - Sunday
The post holder works as part of a community rehabilitation service delivering a high standard of generic and physiotherapy assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation of patient care.
The service responds to a wide range of referrals from acute and community settings including providing a rapid response service to Emergency department at QEUH, Scottish Ambulance service, GP’s Within the Rehabilitation Service the post holder by reason of their highly developed
specialist knowledge, underpinned by theory, practice and experience, will deliver a high quality specialist service, providing expert clinical intervention, education and support to patients and their carers. The post holder will provide specialist patient assessment, case coordination, treatment and planned discharge for adults with complex rehabilitation needs.
Minimum of at least 3-5 years post graduate level experience which should include relevant experience of working within any or all of the following; Care of the Elderly Specialities, Adult Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Medicine or Neurology.
