Dental Services Manager
Salary £40,872 - £47,486 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,117 per annum
37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Services Manager to join the Dental Centre within NHS Western Isles.
The PDS delivers dental services to a population of approximately 26,000 across the Western Isles and the main hubs are the Dental Centre in Stornoway, which is a modern, multi surgery ‘teach and treat centre, and a new Dental Hub on Uist and a surgery on Barra.
You will be responsible for the operational and performance management of the Public Dental Service (PDS) throughout the Western Isles under the direction of the Dental Director.
You will collaboratively manage staff within the service, undertaking quality recruitment and selection, arranging training and performance management and ensuring continuous professional development and improvement in service delivery;
Hold responsibility for operational management of public dental services throughout the Western Isles with direct line management. This will include all line management functions including setting of objectives, review of performance, allocation of staff, staff rosters, management of leave and attendance and clinic logistics.
