All posts require you to participate in a departmental wide shift system covering the service 24/7 and therefore a flexible approach is required.
You must demonstrate a commitment to professional development and show a keen interest in the future of your profession and the Diagnostic Imaging services.
You will be expected to support both the service and its staff in continuing to maintain and develop the highest standards of imaging. You will be involved in departmental audit activities and excellent communication and team working skills are essential.
In return the successful applicants will be offered a high standard of support towards their career pathway.
You should have a wide range of general radiographic experience and be hard working, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate good communication and team working skills. All radiographers will gain some experience in CT.
For newly qualified radiographers, Flying Start is promoted, to assist in the transition from student to graduate. An active CPD Programme is also in place in the department.
A car owner / driver is essential.
