An opportunity has arisen for 3 x Registered Nurses within Station 1, University Hospital Ayr. 

The posts are permanent, 34.5 hours per week which will be worked on a rotational basis covering day and night shifts and weekend working. 

It is essential that you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as being able to work effectively as part of a team.

You will be flexible to shift patterns and have a genuine interest in general medicine. Your focus will be in promoting safe, effective and person centred care of the highest standard. 

With supervision and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team you will be responsible for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care working within the professional standards held in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

You must be a 1st Level Registered Nurse with a genuine interest in this General Medicine. Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. 

You will deliver individualised person centred care and ensure patient safety at all times. You will work as part of the team, demonstrating a positive “can do” attitude, commitment, dedication, flexibility and reliability in delivering a high quality service. 

There are various posts/ hours available to be worked in a rotational shift pattern.
