LOCUM APPOINTMENT FOR TRAINING IN
Ophthalmology

Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term, Full time (40 hours per week) post based in Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion.
You may also be required to work at any of NHS Lothian’s sites possibly rotating to Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline


The appointee will be appointed to a 10 session contract, including post-graduate teaching, and will include a 1:6 on-call in PAEP or a 1:5 on-call if based in QMH, Fife This post is at ST1 to ST3 level or above in the Ophthalmology department Broad exposure to a number of subspecialties will be achieved.


This post has deanery approval for training and the successful applicant will receive training opportunities at the appropriate level based on previous experience.


There may be a possibility to extend this appointment to the end of the training year. The extension may be at any of the hospitals on the rotation.
