Dental Team Leader (Aberdeen Dental Outreach and Argyll Dental Practice)
Band 5 (£26,104 – £32,915) - (Mon – Fri 37.5hrs)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, GDC registered, qualified dental nurse to become a Dental Team Leader.
This AFC Band 5 post of Dental Team Leader within the Aberdeen Dental Outreach Centre and Argyll Dental Practice is now being offered on a permanent basis.
Below is a brief description of the roles & responsibilities of the Dental Team Leader post; please also see the full job description attached.
- Support and assist the Outreach Clinical Lead, dental clinicians and BDS students in the effective and efficient running of the Outreach clinical sessions to deliver a high standard of patient care.
- Support and assist in the day to day operational and clinical management within Aberdeen Dental Outreach Centre and Argyll Dental Practice.
- Support the City H&SCP PDS Management Team in clinical performance management by undertaking annual appraisals of dental nurses / LDU Technicians and Reception staff within the Outreach Training Centre and Argyll Dental Practice.
- Support and assist implementation of training plans for Dundee BDS students and Trainee Dental Nurses.
