An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Catering Supervisor to join our dedicated team of staff within the wider Support Services Department working within the Catering Departments in North East Fife. You will predominately be based at Stratheden Hospital, Cupar although travel to all sites will be required on a weekly basis.
The Senior Catering Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that there is a high quality of service provision throughout North East Fife liaising with the supervisors within catering in North East Fife. On occasion you will lead the team and ensure that projects are moved forward including the reduction of food waste. You will also ensure all sites are achieving full compliance with our Food Safety system and meeting the needs of all service users including providing nutritious, well presented meals to all patient groups and service users with the patient and service user at the forefront at all times. Promoting and maintaining best practice within the catering service at all times is expected.
Hours will be worked 5 days per week between the hours of 6.30am and 7pm. This will be predominately Monday to Friday but weekend working will be required to cover the Catering Supervisors and to meet the needs of the service.
Flexibility with working hours is essential and shifts will be agreed in advance during the rostering of rotas, but are subject to change.
Previous catering supervisory experience, a current Food Hygiene certificate and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of a Food Safety System with a good understanding of the current Allergen legislation and requirements of this are essential for the post.
