This is an opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the team in the Low Secure Forensic Mental Health Inpatient Service based at the Blair Unit, Royal Cornhill Hospital.
The post holder will carry out specialised Occupational Therapy assessment and provide interventions to adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties and who may also display behaviours that challenge and have a forensic history. Consideration of risk management and the limitations of a secure setting are essential.
Multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working is an integral component of the post to ensure effective delivery of patient care in the acute hospital setting and beyond, through discharge planning and appropriate onward community referrals.

The post holder will be currently registered with HCPC and have a diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy.
