Job Advert

The Medical Devices Unit in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is looking for a talented graduate with a passion for mobile app development to join their multi-discipline team, creating and evaluating exciting new medical devices for the NHS. This William Forrest Innovation Fellowship is funded by the Margaret Murdoch Charitable Trust.

In this role you will advance your skills as a software developer, while contributing to the development of mobile apps and other software for the NHS. The software we produce directly influences the standard of care which our clinical partners can provide, so this is a great opportunity to make a difference to the NHS in Scotland.

We will provide on the job training in modern software practises, including agile development and modern devops practices. You will have exposure to the latest tools and technologies and training around the legislation and regulation of medical devices and how that affects software development within the NHS.

This is an opportunity to join the Medical Devices Unit at an exciting time: as we are expanding, you will have the ability to shape our technology landscape and help us develop tools to support the NHS to deliver world class care.
