The Associate Practice Development Nurse will support PDNs to provide professional and practice development support to community nursing staff within Glasgow City HSCP. You will function as an autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and will be required to work in partnership with a range of staff throughout Glasgow City HSCP. You will be involved in the training, education, induction, support and development of skills and competencies for staff within Glasgow City HSCP. You will provide proactive clinical leadership to staff promoting high standards of evidenced based practice and supporting the implementation of nursing standards/developments in line with national priorities and good practice statements. The post holder will be a 1st level registered nurse, it is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and have relevant community nursing experience. This post is 30 hours to be worked over 4 or 5 days each week with flexibly to meet the needs of the service. Your base will be Rowanpark, however as this is a citywide post, you will be expected to travel to all bases located within Glasgow City HSCP. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.
