Locum Appointment for Training Specialty Registrar 4+ in
Rheumatology
Salary £36,472 - £57,349 per annum

We are seeking to recruit a LAT (ST4 level or above) in Rheumatology. You will be based in the Rheumatology Department, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Contribution to General Internal Medicine on call and Hospital at Night is optional and can be accommodated. This post is available immediately until August 2023.
The Rheumatology Department is an extremely supportive multi-disciplinary unit where you will be able to develop skills and clinical leadership. In addition to general Rheumatology Clinics there are sub-speciality clinics in Connective Tissue Diseases, Metabolic Bone Disease, Spondyloarthritis, Vasculitis, MSK Ultrasound, Teenage and MDT Transition clinics with Paediatrics and nurse-led early Arthritis clinics. The department has an excellent MDT team of AHPs and a busy Day Case Unit for biologics and other infusions. The Osteoporosis unit is based in the Rheumatology Department and provides DXA scans to the whole population of Grampian and a mobile DXA service for remote and rural areas and Islands.
