This is a permanent full-time post. Hours are 37.5 hours per week, working a 12 hour shift pattern over day and night shifts including weekend and public holiday cover.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Orthopaedics at QEUH for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse .We are looking for a caring, hardworking individuals to join our team and provide a high standard of care to patients within Orthopaedics. The Orthopaedic Trauma Unit in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital admits patients with a wide variety of fractures/injuries most requiring orthopaedic surgery. Patients are admitted directly from emergency department, HDU or transferred from other units for specialist fracture fixation. The unit comprises of 112 orthopaedic beds and this post is based in a 28 bedded Trauma Orthopaedic ward . You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to patients. It is essential you are a Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration and an interest in Orthopaedic nursing.
