Salary Scale: Band 4 £23,709 to £25,982 pro rata per annum

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work both on an individual basis and as a member of a team. You will adopt a person centred approach to deliver a high standard of flexible and responsive care to service users within the care home. You will provide support and assistance to service users using the re-enablement approach that includes support to service users to maximise and maintain their independence.
This post is responsible for leading the shift, administration of medication and to support and guide other care staff to meet the needs of the residents. You will undertake a key working role within the service so should have knowledge and experience of Support Planning and the reviewing process and Risk Assessing in relation to older people.
Previous experience in a social care setting is essential and ideally you will hold an SVQ 3 in Social care or as a minimum hold SVQ 2 with a willingness to achieve an SVQ 3 in Social Care to enable registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for Adults within 3 years of appointment.
This is a relief post, on an as and when required basis. You will be required to work flexibly in order to meet service requirements.
