Patient Services Supervisor/Reception Manager
Salary £23,709 – £25,982 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,117 per annum
37.5 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Patient Services Supervisor/Reception Manager to manage the daily operational functions of Reception and Clinical Support Assistants and to support the implementation of the Hospital Electronic Prescribing Medicines and Administration (HEPMA) NHS Western Isles in the Western Isles Hospital.
Applicants must have experience in working with electronic medical record systems, telephony systems and managing staff. You must be self-motivated and educated HND level in a relevant field with excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and keyboard/IT skills together with knowledge of the workings of a clinical setting and medical terminology.
We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme). This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
