We have an excellent opportunity for an organised persons with kitchen management skills. The ideal candidate must have experience in large scale catering, preferably
within an NHS, and hold City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or S/NVQ qualification together with an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential.

Our main kitchen provides in excess of 2000 prepared and cooked meals every day including therapeutic diets to patients, staff and the public. In addition, we cater for
hospitality for meetings and functions.

Your duties include the preparation, cooking and service of meals, the preparation oftherapeutic diet. Maintaining a high standard of hygiene, recording and monitoring data for HACCP and Environmental Health.

A degree of flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work during periods of leave as and when required.

You must be available to cover all shifts within the department between the hours of 6.30am – 7.00pm which can include Sat/Sun.
