Senior Cashier

The Role

Although based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, you will be expected to cover any of the other NHS Lothian sites.  The Cashiering Team provides a comprehensive service to patients, staff, general public, and other Government Bodies in respect of all cash received for NHS Lothian, NHS Lothian Charity and patients who hand over personal funds and property for safe keeping as well as reimbursement of allowable expenses.

You will deal with all aspects of cash receipt and disbursement ensuring that all cash received are recorded and banked timeously and accurately and that all reimbursements are in line with the necessary policies and regulations and are appropriate authorised.
