Full Time Deputy Stores & Logistics Manager  post based at Central Procurement Store, Dava Street

The Deputy Stores & Logistics Manager will assists the Stores & Logistics Manager   in their responsibilities for the day to day operation and supervision of the Stores & Logistics Team within the current management structure through service reconfiguration to maximise value for money and effectiveness.  Through recent analysis of the current Stores & Logistics management structure, evidence showed the service would benefit from a Deputy Stores & Logistics Manager thus enabling the post to  assist/ implement service redesign which focuses on cost saving, performance and releasing time for nursing staff for patient care.  Implementing various best practice model projects such as Top up services and other Stores Job roles, creating a more streamlined service which serves the department and the board’s objectives more effectively This newly created post will enable Governance related issues relating Health & Safety, Manual Handling, Human Resources, Training and Development to be successfully set up and monitored which will benefit the service and the teams within Procurement Stores.  The shift pattern for this post is 7.5 hrs, Mon-Fri
