Maintenance Support Worker (Laundry)

The Estates/Engineering Department at the Central Laundry based at Hillington is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to carry out the role of Maintenance Support Worker.  The successful candidate will assist shift technicians with the demanding Estates/Engineering requirements of the NHS GGC Laundry and will also be able to work unsupervised on certain tasks.  This post requires a base understanding of industrial engineering (electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic/steam generation).  Knowledge of industrial laundries is preferred/advantageous.  The hours of this post are as follows:

Rotational 3 week pattern

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 06.30 until 17.00

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday – 06.30 until 17.00

Week 3: Nightshift – Sunday 22.00 until Monday 07.00 repeating Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.​​​​​​​
