Working within Specialist Children’s Services in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which encompasses Community Paediatrics, CAMHS & Acute Paediatrics, you will be committed to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and
national policies/agendas. You will have knowledge and experience of working in teams where care is coordinated and you will fully understand the impact of integrated care and services. You will have relevant experience in planning and providing person centered and outcome based care. A strong culture of support, development, CPD, eflective practice and supervision exists to maximise our patient’s experience, safety and outcomes and your career progression. This post represents the opportunity to further develop the work of our Infant Mental Health team. The Infant Mental Health team works across the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board area to provide mental health assessment and interventions to the families with infants under 3 years. There is close collaboration, joint working and the provision of advice and consultation to other NHS services and to other statutory and third sector services working with infants and their families. You will lead the Infant Mental Health team taking on role of clinical and team lead.
The Infant Mental Health Team is a multi-disciplinary team who have been established for one year. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a service to meet the needs of under 3s and work with a range of partners to do so. Informal enquiries to Andrew Dawson or Andrea Blair.
