Looking to develop your career in HR, with the opportunity to work across HR Operations including the application of Terms and Conditions and Employee Relations in the NHS?

This post will provide an ideal opportunity to take the next step in enhancing your experience in HR.  We currently have a team of HR Advisors who support our operating Directorates in the delivering and planning of high quality healthcare by providing general HR support to specific Directorates and cross-cover as required.

The post is offered as full time which is 37.5 hours per week and is fixed term for 12 months.   We welcome opportunities for flexible working or less than full time if that suits your circumstances and the needs of our service.  Please indicate this on your application.

This role is a key support for our busy line managers in the NHS, to support their day to day operational HR needs.  A key interest in employee well being, application of HR policies, equality & diversity and striving for excellence and improvement is welcomed.  Sound decision making, good prioritisation of workload and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

We expect a continuous improvement approach, where we identify processes that are not working as well as they should and to introduce small tests of change. Whilst the roles lead on particular areas, the flexibility to cross-cover during periods of peak work or leave, is essential.  We’re a diverse team covering all aspects of the employee journey from recruitment to retirement, so the ability to collaborate and engage positively, while also prioritising, managing expectations and delivering a great service.
