​​​​​​GP PRACTICE MANAGER - An opportunity has arisen for a practice manager to join a friendly, forward thinking general practice in Dunfermline due to retirement. We are an urban practice covering Dunfermline and surrounding villages with a practice population of around 8600. We are also a training practice taking FY2 Doctors as well as Aberdeen and St Andrews Medical Students. The practice is supported by a highly trained team of nursing and administration staff, and have on site a variety of multidisciplinary team members. We use EMIS Patient Software and an online clinical triage system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong management background. They will be expected to have excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills whilst also having the ability to manage their time efficiently. The role will have responsibility for the business operations and financial management of the practice as well as human resource management whilst supporting the GP Partners to ensure continued success and development of the practice. Previous healthcare experience is preferred although applicants from other management sectors are welcome if transferable skills can be demonstrated.

Pension: Membership of the NHS Pension scheme is available

Hours: 37.5 over 4/5 days
