The Mental Health Wellbeing Nurse post-holder will promote the wellbeing of people and to facilitate their access to mental health and wellbeing services by providing high quality, safe assessment and direct patient care within the general practice/health centre.
To deliver nursing assessments and interventions which will include one-to-one and group delivery of evidenced based low intensity psychological Whereby to improve the lives of people with mental ill health by minimising the impact of their condition through effective delivery of services to promote recovery and well-being for all service users.
The post holder will work across GP practices and other settings as appropriate within Helensburgh and Lomond area providing a mental health wellbeing assessment, advice, and signposting and treatment service that supports the concept of positive mental health, which would be done without the requirement of a GP assessment.
The post holder will be expected to liaise with practice staff, community link workers and third sector staff, delivering an effective, person centred and strength based approach that promotes wellbeing.
The shift pattern is; Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
