We have an exciting opportunity for two part time Clerical Officers to join our team at Medical Records, University Hospital Monklands.
The purpose of the job is to provide a patient administration service within the Health Records Department, which administratively underpins the patient’s journey to and through the hospital, both inpatient and outpatient care, to meet the needs of patients and health care professionals.
The Successful candidate requires to be educated to standard grade and have a knowledge of health records gained through 2 years experience and/or qualification at SVQ level 2, ECDL or equivalent. They should have customer care skills, keyboard skills and be computer literate with experience in multi tasking. They must have knowledge of Confidentiality and Data Protection and handling and moving skills with an ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. In addition, the successful candidate should possess good interpersonal skills including an ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff at all levels.
