Some posts involve evening work finishing at 9.30pm, others will be day time delivery. Hours to be discussed with successful candidate(s).

These posts deliver the Weigh to Go programme across NHSGGC. Hours to suit the service with some flexibility in discussion with the Youth Health Service Manager (please call to discuss). The Weigh to Go service is embedded in the Youth Health Service which provides clinical and non-clinical support for young people. Whilst the Weigh to Go component is focused on the weight management programme, this is an opportunity to work within an early intervention service as part of a multi-disciplinary team assessing and planning care in areas such as sexual & mental health, risk taking behaviours as well as some areas of physical health. The overall YHS also offers support around non clinical issues such as housing, financial inclusion and training and employment. You will liaise with key professionals and 3rd sector colleagues to support the young person work towards positive outcomes. Experience of working with young people is an advantage, as is experience in making sound clinical judgements. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work and excellent communication are key skills for this post. The core team are based in Gartnavel Royal hospital and the service is delivered in a variety of venues across the city.
