We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Lead for the Respiratory Managed Clinical Network (MCN) to lead the MCN across Tayside.
The postholder will have a key strategic role in redesigning and continuing to develop effective, integrated, multidisciplinary respiratory services within the framework of a Managed Clinical Network. He/she will work collaboratively as part of a core Network leadership team to drive forward service developments as prioritised by the Respiratory MCN Executive Group and to implement locally the national Respiratory Care Action Plan.
The successful candidate could be from a medical, nursing or AHP background but will have credible clinical knowledge of Respiratory disease, including the management of patients across the whole journey of care. A proven record in leading change and a demonstrable commitment to the development and role of MCNs are essential. This is a real opportunity to work as part of an innovative team to deliver real improvements in patient care.
The post is offered on a secondment basis for a period of 23 months, with the successful candidate transferred on their existing salary. The post can be split into 2, (2 x 1 PA sessions). Applicants who wish to be considered for 1 PA only, please indicate this when you submit your application.

The successful applicant will return to a post within their substantive department at their substantive grade at the end of the secondment period.
Hours of work are: 2 sessions (4 hours per session) 8 hours per week
