The shift pattern for this post is 5 days over 7 from 0830 – 1630 and back shift 1430-2230 (this is due to change to 1330- 2130), including weekends and public holidays
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse who already holds a first level adult nursing degree to join our team as a community band 5 staff nurse.
Applicants to the post require to have significant nursing experience and demonstrable leadership and communication skills and evidence on continuing development. They must be passionate about a career in community services and be motivated to work autonomously within a dynamic environment as part of the wider HSCP. As a community staff nurse you will work within the Primary health Care team and under the direction and supervision of the District Nurse will assess and deliver an agreed plan of care to individuals within a community setting.
A clean current driving license is required.
The partnership is committed to development of their staff and as such there are significant learning opportunities for staff to access. Additionally there is the opportunity to be supported to complete a Specialist Practitioner Qualification in advancing practice in District nursing. On successful attainment of this academic and NMC recordable qualification will be transferred to a band 6 District nursing position within the partnership.
