An exciting opportunity has become available for someone to join the Operational Estates Team within GG&C, to lead the administration Service within the department.
The successful candidate will be a pivotal member of the Estates Team by ensuring that the administrative duties for all Sites under our remit are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for leading and managing approximately 15 staff including Modern apprentices.
You will work closely with the Site Managers to ensure support to key areas of governance, day to day support of the site as well as driving new and innovative ways of working.
It is essential that you have experience within this type of environment. Your key skills will include the ability to effectively plan, organise, co-ordinate and take forward local objectives whilst ensuring a consistent approach across the city.
As our ideal candidate, you will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities. An ability to deal sensitively using tact and diplomacy in dealing with complex matters is also sought. Empower, engage, lead and develop the team and encourage positive communication along with creativity, drive, and the ability to implement innovative ideas to improve working practices with a proven track record of successfully managing people, tasks and using your initiative.
The hours worked will be Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 and it will be based at the QEUH, the role will require the successful candidate to visit (in person as well as remotely) sites with Administrative staff.
