NHS Lothian, Digital & IT, System Administrator (o365 Programme)

 

Permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week with flexibility between the hours of 8am and 5pm.

Based in Edinburgh although travel through NHS Lothian board area may be required.

£26,104 - £32,915 per annum (annual pay award pending). Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service.

 

This is an exciting and excellent opportunity to work within Digital & IT as part of an expanding project team focusing on the implementation and delivery of Office 365, SharePoint & OneDrive across NHS Lothian.

Working closely with other teams within Digital & IT, you will play a key part in the information gathering and support of the team administering Office 365 for NHS Lothian. Excellent communication skills are essential to this key role within the programme. You will communicate with users from various departments and posts within the organisation.

Although training will be provided, experience in the following would be very advantageous: Using/supporting Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint and a knowledge of ITIL processes for user support.

  • Work as part of the Digital and IT Team to ensure a consistent, high-quality service is delivered.
  • Work with colleagues to document Office 365 administration tasks.
  • Assist the Training Facilitator in the development of training material.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of IT processes, procedures, and knowledgebase.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to users.
  • Strong customer service skills, excellent organisational skills, with the ability work in a wide range of issues.
  • An understanding of Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive and Azure.
  • An understanding of user support processes.
  • Be positive, empathetic, enthusiastic, and confident to represent the Digital and IT department and NHS Lothian Values.
