This is a Fixed term post of 2 years

The shift pattern for this post is Monday-Friday day shift with occasional weekend work.

​​​​​​​An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and specialised respiratory physiologist to join our team at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. We provide respiratory and sleep physiology services to patients referred from a wide range of specialities from all over the country. Your mail role will be to perform, interpret and report the full range of specialist respiratory investigations required for ongoing research projects. This will include but not be limited to Pulmonary Function tests, Bronchial Challenge Tests Cardio-Pulmonary exercise tests, pH impedance & Polysomnography.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of a science-based degree, ARTP professional body qualifications in pulmonary function together with relevant post qualification experience and knowledge of specialist investigations at an advanced level. RCCP/AHCS/HCPC registration and experience with research is desirable. You will require to be a good team worker, have some experience of working with children and have patient care at the heart of what you do.
