This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
The post holder will provide the professional leadership, management, coordination and governance of the service within NHS Lothian within available resources (as detailed in Section 3 Dimensions).
The post holder will work with the relevant Senior Manager and appropriate others in the enhancement and strategic development of the existing services as well as the development of any new services.
Work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies, providing professional knowledge and input as required.
