An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Medicine/Front Door Occupational Therapy Service based at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh. 

Based in the Admissions Unit you will also be required to support the patient journey from the Emergency Department, through the Admissions ward into the Acute Medical Wards.

You should have clinical experience working as an Occupational therapist within an acute or rehab specialty and will have the ability to assess and plan interventions in this clinical area, and offer advice and support to patients, their carers and other health care professionals.  

Support, supervision and development opportunities are available through the Occupational Therapy Site Management Team, Team Lead Occupational Therapist and peer support within the team, from Occupational therapy and other colleagues.
