Applications are invited for the role of Administrator to join the Fife Specialist Palliative Care Team. 
A full range of administrative and secretarial support is required and the principal responsibilities of the role are to be the first point of contact for the Fife Specialist Palliative Care Outreach Team, including the Lead Nurse as well as providing administrative support to the medical SPOA (single point of access) team, including support with the MORSE patient management system.


The successful applicant will be part of a team that are passionate about the service they provide and should ensure the smooth day to day running of the office and team within the functional unit of the wider Service and will work closely with medical and administrative colleagues alike.
You will be first point of contact for families and carers contacting the team, dealing with messages appropriately and supporting the Lead Nurse with day to day activity.  Advanced excel skills would be advantageous.

You should have a good general education and ideally have an SVQ level 3/HND administration qualification or similar, or have relevant NHS experience.  Excellent telephone and communication skills will be essential.  A positive outlook in relation to high quality customer care and team working is also required.
